• Must be 16 years or older
• Have completed a high school education or be at least a high school junior
(on or after the start of high school junior year) and enrolled in or completed one
of the following:
• An early childhood education or child development career technical program.
• A child development associate (CDA) training program or achieved a CDA credential for the age group in which the high school student is working.
• A college credit program with early childhood education or child
development focus.
• For high school students, documentation of high school grade level and enrollment in or completion of a technical, training or college credit
program as described above is to be verified.
• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Must submit to a BCI background check
• Must be willing to become CPR/First Aid Certified
• Must be willing to obtain CDA if applying for a Lead Teacher position
• Must obtain a physical from your physician
• Must be current on immunizations
• Must be willing to complete 10 hours of professional development annually
• Must be comfortable speaking with families
